This is all about us getting more control.

After trying numerous times to get tradesmen, and not just electricians, I figured it was time to do something about the tardiness of their responses. Some electricians just wouldnt phone back, or if they did it was almost as if I had to apologise to them for interupting their day.

Bugger that, I am the client here and I will be paying for work just like anyone else, and yes my time has importance as well. Individually you are up against it to get them to move. However, collectively we all of a sudden have some influence. If they persist with the wrong attitude, then now they will lose a lot of jobs because we wont be asking them to quote.

Most of the electricians responding to your jobs will be locals. Their kids are probably going to school with your kids. They have to live in this community as well. I find this significantly changes the way you are dealt with. I have also seen electricians being treated poorly as well so its a two way street. This site is all about making the whole process as pleasurable as possible.

The electricians are generally more than happy to call you for the work once you have submitted your job request.
