This is all about us getting more control.
After trying numerous times to get tradesmen, and not just electricians, I figured it was time to do something about the tardiness of their responses. Some electricians just wouldnt phone back, or if they did it was almost as if I had to apologise to them for interupting their day.
Bugger that, I am the client here and I will be paying for work just like anyone else, and yes my time has importance as well. Individually you are up against it to get them to move. However, collectively we all of a sudden have some influence. If they persist with the wrong attitude, then now they will lose a lot of jobs because we wont be asking them to quote.
Most of the electricians responding to your jobs will be locals. Their kids are probably going to school with your kids. They have to live in this community as well. I find this significantly changes the way you are dealt with. I have also seen electricians being treated poorly as well so its a two way street. This site is all about making the whole process as pleasurable as possible. The electricians are generally more than happy to call you for the work once you have submitted your job request.
How The Process Works.
If you have an electrical job that needs doing all you have to do is submit your job request to us. We have previously contacted a number of electricians who want to do work in your area and are showing us that they mean it. After you submit your Job, we contact the electricians on our list for you to let them know about your job.
Depending on how they are contacted, THEY WILL CONTACT YOU as soon as possible to discuss your job. It doesnt get any easier than this. The job itself is up to you and the electrician to come to some agreement on.

This service we provide is about connecting you with electricians to get your job done. We do not have any control over the electricans at all and it is up to you to ensure they are appropriately licensed, insured and that they have done a satisfactory job. We take no responsibility for their actions nor can we guarantee 100% satisfactory results.
The electricians are also of the understanding that you are an independent entity to us as well, and it is up to them to contract with you to perform any job for you, and also to obtain payment. We therefore do not, and cannot, enter into any dispute mediation and/or resolution between yourself and the electrician.
